Default Do you keep a Journal?

I started a dream journal in 2020. I wish I started it years ago. As for a regular journal, I've had one I started back in 2010/11. I rarely wrote in it and I finally finished it in December. I'm trying to write more in my new one.

I started one over twenty years ago. Wrote in it the first night and never did again. LOL. My life is not interesting enough.

I've tried at times, because I've always had trouble expressing my thoughts and feelings verbally, but after a handful of entries over a couple weeks I always trail off and wind up stopping.

My wife encouraged me to start one last summer so I could see what was affecting my health situation.
I haven’t written in it since about Christmas time and kinda miss it.
I’d like to resume writing in it.
But more than about health stuff, life stuff.

I kept one from 3rd to 6th grade, actually looked back on it a couple weeks ago, entries were more or less incoherent to me, I honestly don't know why I wrote about what I did back then. I keep a photo journal of all my outdoor adventures now on Instagram(albeit probably not the same), I may change it up later this year and create a YouTube vlog channel or even go back to a more traditional blog interface. I think keeping an actual journal would be a waste since I live a rather simple life.

I really wanted to do sort of a travel journal and document things as I saw them but that for whatever reason never materialized. There’s a Japanese company called Traveler’s Company that makes really cool stationary for it.
