Default The Mist (Blu-Ray) 2 Disk Set Shipping Now!!!

I am not sure if this is an error but if you go to the website below, it tells you that they have it in stock and it ships in 1 day. I added to my cart to see what happens and to my suprise i recieved no errors.

Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't The Mist be released on 9/16/08?

Yes, it has been sent out to retailers now, although not supposed to be released until September 16th. Retailers usually ship catalog titles earlier.

I noticed they still have a release date of August 5 on that web page. Something's not right, but if you get it, let us know so that we can start placing our orders.

I just put my order in. Saw the preview and it looked intriguing. This is a blind buy for me. Anyone seen it already? Is it good as the preview looks?

I like that art better. It is actually the original poster art from the movie, they also used it for the paperback re-release of the novela. The art used on the DVD is too generic.

Saw it and nope. I would not advise bling buying this movie. You may really like it but I advise against it. Hope it works out for you. So much better coming in September and October than this IMHO.

This movie was ok. It did have a shocking ending though. Kinda depressing in a way.

I saw this at the weekend on DVD and will not be picking it up on blu - this film has the worst CGI I have ever seen! Ok story, some dodgy actors & some very dodgy CGI effects.

The ending is also completely pointless and stupid. I wouldn't even say it was shocking or depressing, just pointless.

The Mist was one of only a few King adaptations that were great.

Yeah, that cover is *worlds* better. It's an original by Drew Struzan.

Hmm, I'll be interested to read the reviews as well as I've been looking forward to this release because the film is rather excellent in my opinion.
