As you all know, Ezra Miller has made rounds yet again with another bar assault in which he was arrested and threatening a live-in couple. Of course, it wasn't that long ago that he choked a woman and threw her to the ground outside a bar. You'd think he'd immediately be fired the first go around, but this is WB we're talking about. They've continued to say and do nothing after essentially letting him off with a slap on the wrist for assaulting a woman (basically, they enabled him), which begs the question(s):
Will Ezra Miller be fired? Should he be? As much as he should be fired (and he would be with literally any other studio), I get the feeling he won't be. Because WB is WB and WB are f*cking morons. They've proven countless times they're completely detached from reality, anything they should do in virtually any scenario, 95 times out of 100, you better believe they'll do the opposite. Case in point, they didn't fire psycho Amber Heard from a supporting role after committing domestic violence, so no reason to believe they'll can Ezra Miller from a leading role after this (though Ray Fisher is somehow more problematic for them because, again, WB logic). So I'll go with the second one. Oh, and this time, I'm making the votes public. ![]() |

I think it'll be largely about how far along this Flash movie actually is. Is it mostly shot and sitting on a shelf? Then he'll be fine. If not, I wouldn't be surprised if they wound up scrapping the project all together. Partially because a big selling point of the series was the multiverse angle, return of Keaton as Batman, etc, that Marvel has beaten them to the punch with in spades. Novelty value wears thin fast.
I don't see WB firing him out of some moral judgement for being a bad person, but it is a movie star's job to draw audiences, and this stuff isn't helping his likability. I don't think WB would hire him today. But if you believe the imdb, the film's already in post, and they've certainly been promoting this thing for years, so they're probably stuck with him. And then box office will determine how much the public accepts him and if there will be sequels. |

Nah. The first time was a fake and was proven as such. This new time may be different but who knows. People love to get celebrities in trouble because they can get something out of it and get their name in headlines. We'll just have to see how this all plays out. Too soon to judge. The problem with Ray Fisher is he won't keep his mouth shut. Even if he is right, he needs to stop. Others won't want to work with him for fear of him opening his mouth if he sees anything troubling. Which is good for exposing Hollywood but it is bad for his career. He's burned his bridge.

He should and will stay onboard as The Flash.
This is WB we're talking about. The same studio that kept Amber Heard on board and even let her keep her role as Mera for Aquaman 2. If they can sweep her BS under the rug, I expect they'll do it for Ezra as well. After all, they seem to enjoy supporting unhinged people. |

If he's fired and the movie's scrapped, it might cause DC fans to go into total mental collapse. So I doubt that it will happen for that reason.

![]() It's a pretty safe bet WB won't do or even say a damn thing. Keep in mind this IS the same studio that refused to let Gotham officially use Joker (even though Cameron Monaghan {sp?}'s character is Joker in everything but name) because "it would be too confusing for audiences" having a Joker in both their Gothamverse and two separate film universes despite the fact that they already have multiple Batmen in their various unconnected TV shows and movies, made Gotham Knights unconnected to Batman: Arkham Knight despite it being about the Bat Family taking up the mantle of Batman following his death yet making the Suicide Squad game the follow-up to Arkham Knight (which makes no sense), rushed the death of Superman arc and formation of the Justice League in BvS to match the MCU despite it being way too early for both, gave us the Martha moment in BvS, is supposedly replacing Cavill with Supergirl as the new lead of the DCEU moving forward, bungled Zack Snider's Justice League and hired Joss Whedon to turn it into a jumbled mess, hired a trailer company to recut Ayer's Suicide Squad (you read that right), fired Johnny Depp while keeping Amber Heard and Ezra Miller onboard after he was caught on video choking and tossing a woman, bungled Matrix Regurgitations by literally making it... a regurgitated mess (and actually thought it clever to use "WB are forcing us to make a sequel" as a plot point), "accidentally" played ZSJL over Tom & Jerry on HBO Max, "accidentally" aired a TV edit of Birds of Prey on HBO Max, the list goes on. ![]() Basically, WB are idiots. Any other studio would've fired his ass on the spot the first time he assaulted anyone, much less a woman, but not WB and I doubt they'll act now. But Ray Fisher, doe, THAT'S where they draw the line. ![]() |

I think he should be fired. That's why I picked the choice that was basically saying "He should be fired but will stay on board as Flash". But just because I think he should be fired, definitely doesn't mean WB are going to do a thing about it.
Pretty much my stance as well. |

I wouldn't say THEY bungled The Matrix Resurrections. The director made the movie, not Warner. And I still wouldn't say the director bungled anything either. The Matrix resurrections is not bungled in the least. It is an absolute stunning piece of work dismantling what people perceive about the movie and what they want out of said movie. The fact that they didn't go where you wanted them makes it all the more better. You have to accept the movie on its terms and go along for the ride. if you don't want to, fine. But it doesn't make the movie bad. As for Ezra Miller, we already know the first incident was completely fake. And nothing came of it because there was nothing there. We will have to wait and see on these new allegations. As for Herd, you are correct. Completely. And I would not call Warner idiots. Have they made some mistakes? Sure, but who hasn't. It doesn't make them idiots. |
