Default Rough Cut (1980)

I love it when my wish list gets reduced by one, even if it's only digital.

Sifting through Prime Video I came across an SD version of of the nostalgia heavy (for me) charming Burt Reynolds, David Niven and Lesley-Anne Down heist movie "Rough Cut" which centers on a plot to steal diamonds.

In an obvious nod to "To Catch a Thief" (1955) Reynolds even does a so-so impersonation of Cary Grant early on, and David Niven (of "Pink Panther" fame) is on hand as a long suffering Chief Inspector out to catch the elusive jewel thief (played by Reynolds) who has always evaded arrest.

Switching over to iTunes I noticed the HD version has been on the platform for some time.
