The 355 is coming out in the US and in the UK on January 7, 2022. I hope this comes to 4K in the US and the UK.

The film doesn't look like one that will be entirely in English, so fans will probably need to hope for one or the other. It looks like Universal has both territories, so it could go either way.

Unfortunately, the film also doesn't look very good, so I don't think it will get many other UHD discs.

Who cares if the movie flops? Every film needs to have a release slot. I think if Universal release 355 on 4K when the pre-order links are happening tomorrow, then we should move this from International Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray movies section to the non-International Ultra HD Blu-ray movies section.

This will have English subtitles (for the English dialogue, at least) and Leonine have updated their product information to show that the Blu-ray and UHD disc will also have Dolby Atmos in both English and German:

For what it's worth, I decided to e-mail Leonine to see about their 4K UHD release.

They replied to the effect that the foreign language portions will have English subtitles, and that there will be German graphics and titles (or as they say, the "feature has been Germanized"), but that English subtitles will be available to translate these German portions.

Germany is getting a lot of releases the US majors/labels don't bother releasing on 4K.

I actually removed the German one from my list already the moment I saw the review of the US BD, which has plenty of caps with burnt-in English subs. McCrutchy/Leonine only put the final nail in the coffin. That's also because the movie was only a maybe to begin with.

As nice as it is that Germany is doing many 4Ks, I'm also reminded why I import more often than not...

The Gucci Scandi BD has proper English titles btw. - did spot some already. Also spotted a short missing Italian dialouge sub as well though, but nothing crucial (as suggested here before). The 4K doesn't work yet (will hopefully tomorrow) and I won't bother with the projector today, but I'm sure the same will apply there.

They might well be incorrect, but the French listings are claiming the French UHD will have English SDH subtitles as well as French, though audio is only DTS-HD MA 5.1, if they are accurate on that point. I think some M6 titles have actually started including English SDH subtitles for their English language films, because I saw them listed on a back cover recently, though I can't recall the film.

I like that the French dropped the definite article from the title, so it's just trois-cinq-cinq.
