A cheap alternative to speaker risers?

I wanna raise my towers about ten inches, but risers are expensive.

My center speaker would be pretty low compared to the other speakers. Inside a TV cabinet, center of the speaker only 17 inches from the floor. I hope it won't create too much of a disparity.
