MODERN LOVE (1929)



Modern Love, released by Universal in July 1929, is a part-talkie staring Charley Chase. The movie was thought long lost until researchers at Universal rediscovered, and has been restored (along with the original soundtrack) and can be rented in 35mm restored prints. I've yet to seen it, but the film sounds enjoyable (involving Charley and his Wife having to keep their marriage a secret) and I'd like to see it someday, having not been able to attend any screenings of it as of yet. I believe Universal hasn't been compromising in allowing a release, but I'd love to see it happen someday
