Sony BMG has set a $29.98 MSRP for the Blu-ray.

Yeah.. very nice.. Sony will most likely put a PCM track in tehre, so this won't probably be reference (as it's more than 15 years old) but the sound should ROCK!

If they can do an SACD 5.1 multichannel version of Elton John's debut album and if the audio masters are pristine, they can do a 5.1 PCM/TrueHD track there.

EDIT: Updated the Wiki entries. This is getting kinda fun, pointing people that their favorite concerts and movies are on BD or soon will be.

If you've ever heard any of Elton John's albums from the 70's in Super Audio CD, you'll know that this could easily be reference.

Finally, another music Blu-ray I'm excited about! I saw AC/DC in 2001 and they were amazing, I've really been getting the itch to see them live again. This should probably be the next best thing!

agreed, ive got an allman bros. sacd that sounds absolutely gorgeous. i will expect no less from this, i cant wait. especially with arturo gatti's entrance son (Thunderstruck). hell yes
