PS3 Includes Movie Rebates - Blu-ray Forum

Just an FYI and this is movie related and not hardware, but the PS3 comes with a booklet of rebate coupons for $10 each. Each page is for a different studio. So save your receipts, you could knock something like another $70 off your overall purchases. I believe it includes at least sony, lionsgate, fox, buena vista and walt disney (yes, separate listings).

Eh, I put my effort in about a month ago and got in on the EB preorder. All I had to do today was walkin at 10 AM and pick it up. No madness.

I think I understand now how Sony cut down its profit expectations because of the PS3: higher per unit costs, cutting down on the selling price for Japanese market, and the inclusion of the rebate booklet.

US$10 per studio is substantial. I think this is useful for future purchases.
