I recently brought TRIDEV Eros DVD and the original aspect ratio here is 2.55: 1 but really bad quality.

I hope they keep original cinemascope ratio and not cropped 2.35:1

Nice to see 1980s decade action movie being released here!. Late 80s was one tough decade for Bollywood. This along with MR. INDIA are a must for bolywood action/adventure fans.

This one has me most excited, and I am sure you all know why........LOL

Yes, I loved the music of this movie! I just hope, again, if this blu ray is happening, that the audio gets decent treatment. Yes, and for Madhuri Dixit

Tridev has been through a restoration process by Shemaroo.

Sangeeta Bijlaani restored to her youth.

First day buy for me.

So it is true. TRIDEV is indeed coming on BRD.

Atleast, those Eagle customers service people dont lie. I appreciate that.

Much respect.

I recently talked to my local BluRay dealer who has an inside guy in Bollywood retail business back in India.

According to him, next up for Eagle are TRIDEV and MOHRA BRDs. most probably release close to Diwali.

I asked him if eagle will digitally remaster GUPT and VIDHAATA like SWADES and re-release both along with other Trimurti films titles this summer.

He said there is zero chances of this happening as eagle never released SWADES before digitally remastering. UTV and moserbaer did.

But he has been wrong before.

I get excited the same way.

Problem with Eagle Ent is DON(1978) has been in the BRD making for 3 years now.

It is still on "coming soon" page of bollywoodbluraydvd.com.

SHEMAROO does all the digital restoration for Eagle releases. DON, TRIMURTI and MOHRA are all digitally restored for a while now.

Assuming they'll use same restoration as on SHEMAROO's YT page.

Because MILI and KHOOBSURAT BRDs finally releases, we have some hope Eagle will release the TRIDEV and MOHRA with almost year's gap in between the releases.

But why is DON BluRay stuck in the pipeline forever?

Lets look tat the Eagles "batch" release of catalog titles so far. The gap btw them.

My GOLMAAL BR says "Pkd on. 11/2013"

My DEEWAAR BR says "Pkd on. 05/2014"

My KHOOBSURAT BR say "Pkd on. 07/2015"

Duration Between Eagles "2nd" and "3rd" batch: 6 months

Duration between Eagles "3rd" and "4th" batch: 14 months!

Its only fair to say next Eagle Batch will show up around Diwali august 2015 time. (Trimurti / Mohra most probably)

They are maintaining a 1 yrs gap between titles.

Can anyone confirm the ANAND / CHUPKE CHUPE / BAWARCHI Eagle "1st Batch" release of the catalogue titles?

We can see the duration gap between these and GOLMAAL BR (2nd batch)

wow. the duration kept increasing.

2 months --> 6 months --> 14 months

I dont mind if they keep it locked to 12 months. Especially if they release 2 at a time. Diwali 2016 is a fair prediction for next Eagle releases.

If 15-18 months, better release WAQT, HAMRAAZ with TRIDEV and MOHRA.

You are asking too much

Just called Eagle and got no information, they said there is no plan for any title on DVD/Blu-ray yet.

Don't know if they want to keep this secret

thanks for taking the initiative.

Do remember, the front office in India is not like western nations where they cater to customers service!

They may not know anything compared to retail pundits in active business transactions with inside links in the industry.

Eagle may have told all customers services reps to just mention "we have no plans as of yet" to anyone that calls.

Since whole movie digital files have been LEAKED of recent movies (MANJHI) before the theatrical release.

A restored remastered DI of catalogue titles can go the same way as someone might copy it on hard drive if word gets out

the only reason cat was out of the hat last time you called as both Eagle KHOOBSURAT and MILI were suppose to release in ultra silence with least buzz.

Dont give up hope until Dilwali 2016 or Christmas 2016.

NJMTV.COM already have WAQT and HAMRAAZ as coming soon.

"Raat Bhar Jaam se" on Youtube.

If the appearance of remastered songs on youtube were an indication of physical HD releases, then the market would have seen a flurry of blu-ray and 4K releases of 90's Malayalam movies.

Yeah, I am just tired of never ending wait for proper remasters of Indian Classics.

I checked the Zee5 free version, Its just above DVD quality, and seems to missing few minutes of footage.

After 30 minutes, I dropped it, because I realized that this and Vishwatma deserved to be seen on remastered Blu rays, as these are full of vibrant colors, and cult tunes from Kalyanji-Anandji and Viju Shah.
