played last Sunday at the AFI Silver's 3D festival - I of course couldn't make it

One of the film's directors (Bob Berger) has responded to comments on Youtube and it sounds like there's a good chance for a disc. Per BB "We distributed the film ourselves and at the time never found a economically sensible means to distribute the film via 3D BluRay"

Good news, this will be coming to 3D blu-ray very soon! I received this message from Bob Berger this morning:

CVR will be having a BluRay box set edition available shortly. There will be 2 disks 3D BluRay, 2D BluRay and 3D Anaglyph versions, all with remastered audio, brand new, accurate captions, director's commentary tracks and multiple special features. We are going to be sending out an update to all of our Kickstarter supporters, mailing lists, press contacts, etc, etc as soon as we know the date, but figure before New Years to make the 10 year anniversary of the film's theatrical release

My pre-order is in, seems crazy that this is region locked but hey ho, that's how it goes sometimes. There are less copies of the standard edition left than there are of the slipcover edition...

Off topic but I noticed that last point with Fatal Games also, I thought usually the slipcase ones go first.

It "Ships later this month" so it won't be long, maybe even in time for Christmas, at least for those in the US...

saw the trailer, so you pretty much have a 1-2 view of a cockpit then the black box recording from real incidents ? how can this be exciting for 3D, convince me ?
