ONKYO HT-R494 Crap the bed??

I have a What seems to be a malfuntion on my Onkyo HT-R494, The AM Tuner works just fine, But When connection a HDMI Cord to the reciver, it defaults to PCM. Usually when I had my cable box pluged in, It when to 5.1 Doloby, Now With It tagging PCM, No sound, Did all the troubleshotting, Opitcal didnt do the trick, Switching HDMI Cords didnt do it, I ruled out the cable out, after defaulting to the TV Speaker, So it has to be reciver, Plan to see what geek squad says on tuesdauy to bring it in.
