There were two copies left in Diabolik a few days ago so I bought one before they totally went out. It just shipped yesterday. I can't wait till I recieve it. They say there were only 500 copies made with slipcover A and only 500 copies are made for slipcover B. I can't find anymore information about this set accept that it is in HDR. Can't wait to finally own this B-rated masterpiece

They are bringing out all of the obscure and totally forgotten about late 70's films that I saw, but totally forgot about seeing on cable back in the late 70's! So many that jogged my memory like Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase films, this, Cruising (good thing I never saw it, or saw it edited back then!) and a host of others.

When I watched it on BD, I was not sure if I saw it at first, but the woman, the lead guy, the balding, the guy getting hit by the truck and the finale - brought back my recollection, although it was weak. I won't be buying it since it costs too much and it was not one of those 'dear to my heart' films. Those I usually bought already.

If you have any interest in Blue Sunshine, you owe it to yourself to buy the Camera Obscura 4k uhd release pronto, while you can (apparently a fairly limited run, two different cover art options). It's a thoroughly impressive presentation of the film, and a very significant improvement over the old blu ray.

I forgot how great this film is: the score, the performances, even the opening credits. I doubt Synapse will do anything but equal this release.
