Default Wait. $50 for a movie. This is a deal??

What happened to the Black Fridays when we got deals on the movies? 50 bucks for wolverine and Deadpool. This makes me so sad.

You picked a bit of an outlier didn't you? And a recently released steelbook version which has a much cheaper standard release at that.

In its own way, this is kind of an incredible accomplishment. How many of us would even remember our usernames and/or passwords after fifteen years of inactivity?

I think the type of collector-brained moviegoer who needs to buy two steelbooks of Ryan Reynolds’ Circlejerk 3 to complete a set on the shelf next to their Funko Pop figures deserves to be out at least $100 for it.

I genuinely think "SRP" is pointless and makes things worse, but if you're into this stuff you shold know it's pointless and you'll never have to pay it.

Omg. Wrong sub forum. How dare I. And yes it's been awhile since I've posted. Sorry I have a life. $50 is not a deal for a freaking movie.

Compared to many other releases really not but considering it was full MRSP up to and for some time after its release it is a reduced price by approximately 30%. It's also worth noting that it's been in an and out print.

$50 is definitely a outlier, at least for now, although it seems to be becoming the norm with Disney. My bigger complaint is $10 used to be my sweet spot which seems to now be extinct outside of the occasional Gruv sale. This Black Friday has shown me I’ll be buying less and paying more going forward. I’m disappointed with Walmart’s steelbook pricing as it’s the only 4ks they carry in-store. I’d be willing to spend $20 but $30 - $35 doesn’t seem very wallet friendly. Some people make fun of Arrow and Criterion but now they seem like a great deal at $25 when 50% off.
