I just repurchased this set. I had previously sold it off but kept the Frankenstein bust. I didn't like the look of Bela Lugosi, which always seemed really off.

Later it dawned on me that the bust might've been fine and the paint job was wrong.

The other day, I found a post of someone who repainted the busts.

Bela looks great in all-white. I actually prefer the white paint to the repainted version, which is pretty good too.

I'm thinking about repainting all my busts with a whitish-green glow-in-the-dark paint to mimic the old Aurora models from the 70s.

Amazingly, I found a mint set of these at a garage sale for twenty-five cents each! They are spectacular in execution, and look great on my shelves.

I love these little busts. They are really well-sculpted.
