I thought it was alright. Some fun sets and visuals but never got very interesting. Also Keanu Reeves sounded like he was doing a drunk Nic Cage impression the whole time.

Loved it. If your a fan of style over substance like I am then this movie is for you. This stands right next to spring breakers, the neon demon, lost river, those types of films. Day 1.

I saw it in theaters and did not recognize Jim Carrey. It's gory but not slasher film gory.

You will have a tough time spotting Jim Carrey and Diego Luna.

Kind of gory (dismemberment stuff, but not too bloody or explicit)

It's some what tense, if you don't know what you are going into (Its the best way to experience this film, it worked for me I was on the edge because I didn't know where the film was going, so I wont spoil it for you, you have to really experience it to enjoy this little gem).

Seems like this film came out on video with a whisper.. Don't believe the hype, boring at times, just not as good as the trailers made it out to be.

Can anybody who owns the blu-ray share any info about it? This disc came out 2 years ago and I can't find one SINGLE review of this disc ANYWHERE. Is it a bd-25 or a bd-50? Picture quality? Extras? Slipcover? Burned or pressed? It seems really weird that it's so easy to find info about the Canadian blu, but absolutely nothing about the US disc?

I'd have to check the disc as I don't remember the extras, but it's a pressed bd-50 and there is no slip. It looks nice. Definitely a must buy, especially at the current price.

Got mine yesterday from Amazon.

It has an audio commentary, making of, deleted scenes and a short film by the director.

Thank God. I was hoping it'd have some extras. I found no review for this one and I've looked everywhere.

I disagree on it being the same level as Spring Breakers. This didn't have nearly enough style in it to justify it being two hours long. It just dragged. And the main characters in Spring Breakers are stupid sure but this main character was aggressively stupid to where nothing she did after the first twenty minutes made any kind of sense.

Spring Breakers had style all through the movie and at least had some sort of progression.

Anybody have any idea why this OOP Virgil Films BD release is now seemingly so valuable and hard to find? There were NONE for sale anywhere for months, now you've got a few available on Amazon starting at $125..(not for long I'm sure)

The accents were laughably bad and there wasn't much of a story. Even the "revenge" was utterly weak and pointless.

However, I'm surprised they got Jim Carrey and Keanu Reeves for this forgettable average flick.
