You know, I dont think I've ever seen porkys. I played the atari 2600 game into the ground when I was young, and I might have caught it once on Showtime back in the early 80's - but that would hardly count since I don't remember it at all.
Although I kind of enjoy the brainless goofy eighties teen sex romps - so if I find a good price for this, I might have to check it out. |

This is immediate the first thing I thought of, but I would prefer it if Shout got the license as they would do a better job with it. |

The first two films were directed by Bob Clark, whereas the first film is more centered around Porky's club, the second film is centered more around the affect of local politics on a Shakespeare Festival at the school. As a band/theater geek I enjoy the 2nd film more for that reason, it is more relate-able to what I experienced in school. The 3rd film is about gambling and basketball and tries to redo what the first film did while trying to do what the 2nd film did as well, hardly a unique experience. It is enjoyable if you enjoyed the first 2 films and are interested in seeing the characters go through another romp together but it tries to do too much. IMHO.

I remember "The Next Day" being a strangely tame departure from the first film that was just boring, but I haven't seen it in a very long time. And I remember "Revenge" having its moments, but not very memorable either.
