I remember watching "Snowpiercer" for the first time on blu ray back-to-back with Ben Wheatley's "High-Rise". This exciting 4k news makes me wish that High-Rise also had a uhd release on the near horizon.

I do hope that at least the 4K disc would maintain the original 1.85:1 aspect ratio, and fixed the credits error. Pretty sure it would be an upscale, but as long as the two key issues are addressed, this would be a fine release.

Weird movie, but in a good way. Probably the best film Chris Evans has done. I tune out his Disney slop pretty much, I enjoy Push and The Losers. His roles have gotten worse as his hair has gotten thicker. Lionsgate has been killing it lately on title choices, hope they keep dropping gems.

I've been meaning to watch this movie for ages on DirecTV via one of their freebie weekends, but it hasn't been on in ages when it used to be available all the time. I feel like they pulled it right before the TV series came out. Anyway, I wanted to see it before I bought it, but I pre-ordered this sight unseen, so hopefully I like it!

Not crazy about the steelbook art, so hopefully this gets a standard release. Also interested in seeing how much of an improvement this is over the old blu.

The report I heard was this steelbook from Amazon is the only US release and won't get a reprint.
