Quote:
FROM THE PRODUCER OF HALLOWEEN COMES A NEW FORCE OF EVIL

Creedmore Prison becomes a supernatural battleground when the specter of Charlie Forsythe, a man executed for murder, returns seeking vengeance from the brutal guard, Ethan Sharpe, who was aware of his innocence. The lives of the inmates hang in the balance as Forsythe and Sharpe lock in demonic combat. Directed by Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, Deep Blue Sea). Starring Viggo Mortensen (A History Of Violence, Eastern Promises), Chelsea Field (Dust Devil, The Dark Half) and Lane Smith (Red Dawn).

Didn't realize we didn't have a dedicated thread for this until I looked at my sig and noticed I had no link, but then I found this. Hoping the doc has a decent run time.

With the talent being interviewed, I'm sure this doc will run anywhere from 35-40 minutes, similar to the docs on "Halloween II" and "III". I've been looking forward to seeing this film for years, glad I waited for this release.

Updated original post with reverse art. Is there a reason this thread doesn't come up when you click on the 'Forum' listing for the film's Blu-ray.com entry? All that appears are Prison Break threads.

This sounds bad ass but 29.99 is a bit too much, ive never spend 30 bucks on a blu before, definetly if it was Viggo signing in a heartbeat but for the writers i'll pass.

How much would this be in store/online on release day?

Maybe I misread the print or the date changed. I thought it was the 29th of January.

An additional $11 is a bit much for USPS within the US ... that's the same freight costs they're charging for international shipments.

EDIT: Looks to be a flat fee regardless of number of items ordered.

Which is why I'm hoping they'll put up at least one more autographed BD pre-order before the Prison event - last time I ordered Halloween 4 and 5 and Night/House of Dark Shadows together to save on shipping.

From the DVD Drive-in review:

Quote:
The HD master represented in this combo package comes from a virtually unblemished source (I noticed only one instance of damage in the form of a single white mark roughly seventy-five minutes into the film). The Ultra Stereo is available as both a faithful 2.0 mix and a 5.1 upmix (both in DTS-MA on Blu-ray and Dolby Digital on DVD). The upmix (not a remix) is perfectly enveloping, but the Ultra Stereo matrixed surround original was fine to begin with. Optional English subtitles are also included, but they only occasionally feature SDH notations.
