I actually ordered the two Spike Lee double features from the Disney Movie Club yesterday. Just watched Clockers for the first time last night on cable TV and enjoyed Crooklyn as a kid. I’ll get all of these eventually, except for Summer of Sam since it’s on one of the Disney sets.

Still need a U.S. release for She’s Gotta Have It, Bamboozled, Girl 6, and others.

I will buy them all (might not buy "Summer of Sam" again, depends on the extras), but I am most excited for "Jungle Fever". Glad that I never got around to importing "Clockers" and "Mo Better Blues".

Great news.. In the span of a few months Spike’s early catalog will go from almost non-existent on blu-ray to damn near complete.

Not sure what the holdup is on She’s Gotta Have It. There’s a great looking HD on Netflix already.

Hopefully these are from new masters and not ancient DVD era ones, like we get with some Universal Blu-Rays of catalog titles.

Criterion always takes its time. Does Netflix have the unrated cut?

Note to Kino: Do not use a 25gb discs for these films... Do not use old dvd masters for these films. A 4K scan on an old master is USELESS and fools no one...
Change your consistency to something new and refreshing.... Carry on....
