I found this out this week. I own a B7 OLED and a TCL 6 series. Few days ago I was wanting to watch Stranger Things. Usually has Dolby Vision and Atmos, but the description stated 4k HDR and Atmos.
When launced the HDR indicator popped up. Still looked good, but was curious what happened here. Contacted Netflix support. After some back and forth they stated that the 2 sets (B7 and the TCL 6 series/roku) didn't support DV anymore. No other information provided when asked. Wanted to know if others are seeing this. Only appears in certain TV apps. (not google chrome, or apple tv etc). |
