Anyone done the math? For Blu-Rays, seems Amazon AU sells them for around 50AUD shipped. If one were to purchase around a dozen titles from the Barnes and Noble 50% off sale at 20USD (so 30ish AUD each right now?) and use a shipping forwarder then surely that's the cheapest route?

Forget about B&N - Criterion won’t allow them to be shipped here. The cost of a shipping agent just isn’t worth the hassle
Options - try Rarewaves for the UK equivalent (note best to get when they have deals / 10% off) Wowhd - when they have 10/15% off deals (same with DeepDiscount - as they are both with the same company) - free shipping for the former, but they charge GST |

FWIW it's nothing to do with Criterion permissions. B&N only disables international shipping on Criterion titles during the sale (they allow it outside of the sale).
I user a freight forwarder, but I buy frequently and empty it once a quarter. Not sure how cost effective it would be for a single order. |
