TCL R646 and PS5

I have no idea if anyone will have any clue what I'm talking about but I did research and have found nothing. I just got the 65 inch TCL R646. Whenever I look to play a game on my PS5 the HDR for the game will either be brighter or darker. Despite having the same exact picture settings. It seems to be a I've crapshoot on which way it will boot the game up. I've also noticed that when I switch from my mode to another, say vivid or sports for example, and go back to my default settings of game, it changes it to dark. I hope this isn't confusing but I'm looking for help.
