It’s cool it’s getting a 4K release, I guess when Warner saw it’s still making a good chunk of money, they swiftly changed their mind. Zaslav was right, they company can’t rely solely on streaming to make money with their films. I hope it gets a steelbook too

Nice. Saw this on Tuesday and loved it.

Would've been so weird if they decided not to release Evil Dead Rise on UHD. The entire franchise is available in 4K, it only makes sense that they release this one too. And it's doing well, this would definitely sell on 4K.

Forgive my ignorance but I never understood why MOD gets so much flak. I'd rather have the releases than not...

I believe most MOD releases use BD-Rs instead of pressed discs, which have a much shorter shelf life, and also typically suffer from a lack of extras and lower bitrates due to using lower-capacity discs.

MOD 4K discs aren't BD-Rs. They're pressed 4K discs.

Well, that's a good thing. But I believe most MOD 1080p discs are still BD-Rs, so perhaps that's how the stigma started.

It'd probably look a little better with the title on it, as that's how the poster art was designed. There's too much empty space without the title there.
