Superhero fatigue might finally be real. Might be time to focus on the A listers and less on b and c tier characters.

Studios seem to be at a total loss as to what will actually make money at the box office. They've helped endorse audiences being pickier in their choices, and it's really upsetting the apple cart. They can't survive on 5 films a year making 75% of the box office, at least not in the manner they currently approach the business.

this is the exactly the problem. people who act like movies didn’t exist for ninety years before superhero nonsense came out all the time.

not every movie needs to make that much. and not every movie would ever make that much.

i don’t know how many anyone who claims to like movies would be opposed to the idea of more of types of different movies coming out.

I guessed I missed the recent time period where every single movie released was a super hero film. No wonder West Side Story or Babylon bombed.

The female lead from West Side Story is one of the main characters in Shazam 2. She is gorgeous. Bablyon was awesome, too.

I've seen West Side Story, it's great. It also didn't bomb or miss out on a billion because super hero movies exist.
