Funny, I was just introducing this film to some friends just a few weeks ago.

Just signed up on arrow and pre-ordered the deluxe version. I figured I would save money by getting just the steel, but the current price is only $5 more for the extras. Not sure if I'm allowed to put my referral code as it says new customers get a discount as well, maybe that can help: BRET-R4

If the slipbox art was the art for the steel, it’d be an easy buy. Equally easy PASS as it is.

I watched this movie recently, actually. First time.

While I really enjoyed the mood and unique tone, and of course the lovely young ladies (

) ultimately I found the twists a little too impossible and deceptive to really enjoy. But it is definitely an intoxicating film, for sure.

Cheaper than five bucks? Yes, barely. But that's only if you go for the media mail shipping option, which Grindhouse strongly discourages and will not stand behind.

It doesn't look like it. It doesn't say "Steelbook" anywhere and the image shows the non-steelbook edition. The price is the same as the MSRP on Arrow's website.
