Who is your favorite actor? Most of these kinds of thread are top 5's or whatever, in mine you can ONLY pick one.

My fav is Denzel Washington

Oh, you can't do this to me. I have to be able to pick two....here's what I'll do, pre-1997 movies my favorite is Al Pacino. Post-1997, it's Christian Bale.

Really odd ball one, but hear me out. Jack Klugman of Odd Couple TV series.
Watch him in the old Twilight Zones, The Odd Couple, Quincy, or any role he has played. His style has never changed and yet was always good. Comedy or Drama, he could do it.

Now, the likes of William Shatner, you can see how much he sucked then but today....well. We still love William Shatner.

Denzel Washington!!! The guy is a force of nature on screen.

I truly believe that he is the greatest American Actor alive right now.

And I say that because he can take a suck ass script like "Training Day", play a truly horrible, and morally vacant character like Alonzo Harris, make you root for that character and win an Oscar for it.
