In a perfect world, rights could be obtained for Wahl's best work, Wiseguy. The Soldier will sit nicely with my Taking of Beverly Hills, Wanderers and Treasure of Yankee Zephyr blus.

Ken Wahl likely won't do anything as he's been retired for over 20 years. Would be cool though. He did provide commentary on the first WG box sets.

Steve James is a nice bonus as well as having a Wahl film on Blu.

Yes it's a bit uneven at times but still entertaining.

It is definitely one of those movies that now, given the fact that Hollywood fakes everything with CGI, has become better with age because they did it all in camera, for real.

Can't wait to see this! James Glickenhaus films are so over the top that they're on the verge of ridiculous, and I mean that in the best way possible. They really are great!

Off topic, but related. Does anybody know if there's a good HD version of The Protector out there anywhere? The German, the Japanese, the Hong Kong? I already have Shout Factory's Jackie Chan Double Feature, but the standard definition presentation of the film on that disc is pretty average.
