No, bro, keep it up!

I've already got my tickets booked for OHMSS (my top Bond film) next month. I'm not gonna be seeing all 25 films on the big screen - it's expensive, and obviously work and other things get in the way - but if I could at least catch a number of my favourites, then that'd be ace.

Nice one. Though from your thread title, I had disturbing images of hardcore Bond fans sitting in a cinema for 60+ hours watching them all back to back.

I've seen every Bond film since Moonraker on the big screen, but it'd certainly be cool to see stuff like OHMSS & The Spy Who Loved Me in a cinema with an appreciative audience.

Hopefully I'm going to right a wrong and see Licence to Kill (wasn't old enough to see it when it was originally released in cinemas, and it's been at the top of my list of older films I've wanted to see one-off screenings of at the local cinema).

Saw a double feature of The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only five years ago this May (after Sir Roger Moore passed away), and found it was one of the best nights I'd had at the cinema (the latter was the one I was most looking forward to seeing).

Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker I'm also most looking forward to seeing. I may see GoldenEye again, but for me my interest in the series lessens after Licence to Kill. The Living Daylights I'm really looking forward to seeing again.

I doubt Never Say Never Again will be shown (I'd like it if it was shown though). Was Diamonds upgraded from a PG to 12 certificate? And hopefully the version of LTK with the extra seconds of footage is the one shown.

The audience in the aforementioned double feature were respectful, especially a couple of people who were talking, but as soon as the opening logos appeared you didn't hear them. At a different (but not as local) cinema, when they did a mini-season of Bond films (some of the early ones), some of the screenings were spoilt by some audience members saying some of the one-liners before the film ended, clearly heard. So when I look ahead to this 60th anniversary season of the Bond films, I'm hoping it won't be spoilt by some (but not all, as it's just a select few who spoil things), as when I found out about this season this past weekend, to say I was happy was putting it mildly. I've been hoping this would happen at the local cinema, and I was ecstatic.

I don't know about its certificate but I'm DYING to see THIS,

How I've dreamed of being Bond in that moment, getting that double-barrelled kick right in my face. ****, more alone time with my hand will be needed now.

Saw Licence to Kill on a 100 inch screen in the Lake District! It was like watching in someone’s large living room!

Licence to Kill holds a special place in my movie-going existence as it was the first film I saw at the Odeon Leicester Square & kicked off 2+ decades of me going up to London almost every Friday to see the new releases in the biggest cinemas possible. The summer of '89 was awesome.

It's my favourite Bond film & Carey Lowell is by far my favourite Bond Girl. I dated a girl in the early 90s because she had the same haircut & looked kinda like her... Good times!

Carey Lowell in Licence to Kill and Sarah Douglas in Superman II are responsible for me being immediately attracted to anyone woman with a pixie cut.

This moment in Superman II sealed my undying love for Mistress Sarah Douglas,

Yeah Carey Lowell was one of my favourites too. Her character was really underrated too. In an era where you've got all these female protagonists in film and the writers have to beat the audience over the head with how strong and tough and brave and independent they are, while actually being none of these things, Carey Lowell as Bouvier actually was all of these things whilst not being obnoxious about it. She also maintained her femininity

Just double-checking, but is every official Bond film to date being shown in ALL Odeon cinemas in the UK and Ireland?

Carey Lowell is among my Top 3 favourite Bond women in the official series (the other two being Lois Chiles and Izabella Scorupco).

If I was being shallow, I'd say the reason I thought Carey Lowell was very attractive in Licence to Kill, were her thighs. And she was a strong character as well (one of the reasons I love the film is it's depth (you don't have just the main revenge storyline).

Can't tell ya that for sure, sorry, don't know. But I assume so.

Nothing wrong with being shallow. I'm only about .007 microns deep myself.

One of them. Certainly one of the main ones. Never actually happened, though. Just a decades-long fantasy.

I shouldn't have doubted the local Odeon cinema. A couple of days ago I was panicking a bit. Needn't have worried. Yesterday, the days and times were put up for my local Odeon cinema for the next seven Bond films in the official series (Live and Let Die up to and including A View to a Kill). During the early hours of yesterday (Wednesday) the Odeon website was down for maintenance. For what reason, I don't know.

I've booked Dr. No, From Russia with Love, and Goldfinger. And while I was at it, a 30th anniversary screening of Basic Instinct.

I'm planning on dragging my not-a-fan wife to see A VIEW TO A KILL eventually, which I guess is payback for her making me watch that lame LADY AND THE TRAMP remake the other day.
