Maybe not. Retro Gold 63 is not known for delivering high quality discs. And it may well be that the UHD is done by Oliver Krekel who also did the atrocious German UHD of HELLRAISER: BLOODLINE.

The best JCVD film in my opinion or at least tied with Double Impact. Harrison Page is comedy gold as Joshua.

Yes, the disc will most likely be made by DigiDreams/Krekel, because earlier German Leon BDs were all by him. So this 4K will also come from him as he frequently collaborates with Retro Gold 63. I suspect it will be a lazy upscale, filtered, with fake HDR. Nobody should preorder this blindly. At least we should wait for reviews. Though I have to say I have zero hope.

I take solace in that I actually watched mine before the 4K was announced. That's rare for me these days.

He does, The Order is a stinker, though it's the only one I own (package deal with Nowhere to Run). I would say he was near flawless from the '80s to Replicant staying average or better. I even like Knock Off, Double Team, Street Fighter. I stopped watching after that save for JCVD and Expendables 2 (and his Amazon Prime show) but he had to have had a crappy shot in Romania tax movie in there somewhere even Willis and Nick Cage aren't immune.

Oh ffs I forgot all about Universal Soldier Return, it's borderline bad.

Van Damme films I don't own: No Retreat, No Surrender, Cyborg, Universal Soldier (though I might give it another go at some point), Double Team, Knock Off, Desert Heat, Universal Soldier: The Return, In Hell, any of the subsequent DTV releases.

Damn I never even heard of Desert Heat, checked the cast list out ('99 Pat Morita?!), gotta dig that one up somewhow. Legionnaire is a great under the radar gem, come to think of it this dude loved doing films set in the desert or on motorbikes.
