Not as good as Ate De Jong's other American effort, Drop Dead Fred, but still incredibly wild, creative, and fun. I wish he made more films here in the States. Hollywood could use some of his creativity.

While I'm not happy to see SF get Blood and Lace, this is something to get excited about. I'm the one who recommended this and the other titles over at HTF, so I'm naturally ecstatic Kino is bringing out another of my most wanted!

This 1992 film is also noted for featuring C.J. Graham as Sgt. Bedlam (Hellcop). Graham previously played Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th, Part VI: Jason Lives (1986).

Awesome, this was one of the movies on my blu ray wish list that always seemed like a long shot...I'm a sucker for creative fantasy takes on the afterlife, I remember this being a lot of fun with great costumes and sets.

I'm ecstatic to see this clever little gem finally see a HD release. Thank you, Kino. I wonder if they will be commissioning new artwork? The original one-sheet is great, but I'd be very curious what a new design would bring. I hope we get a commentary track, at least. The film is screaming for explanation on many creative fronts.
