According to the specs the 0.65 DMD imaging chip is 2K (1080P) and with 4 way pixel shifting technology that simulates 4K (2160P) resolution. HDR appears to be only HDR10 and not HDR10+ or Dolby Vision HDR. But the main advantage of this DLP projector is the 6,500 lumens output.

That Ricoh UHL3660 projector is only going to cost $6,000 which is a excellent value for a DLP projector with 6,500 lumens. But the DLP industry needs to come out with some under $100,000 and under $30,000 projectors that use native 4K imaging chips without pixel shifting. That is what I like about Sony and JVC LCOS projectors native 4K light engine.
The Epson QL7000 (10,000 lumens) with 1080P LCD light engine with pixel shifting to simulate 4K costs $29,999. https://epson.com/For-Home/Projector...k/p/V11HB46820 The Sony VPL-GTZ380 4K SXRD projector with 10,000 lumens costs $80,000. https://electronics.sony.com/tv-vide...rs/p/vplgtz380 The Panasonic PT-RQ50K is a native 4K DLP projector with 50,000 lumens output. I like this projector with the 50,000 lumens output and one can get free shipping on this $319,999 projector plus $26,999 for the lens. Ideal for very large home theater rooms and business commercial installations. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...ative_4k.html/ If one only needs 37,000 lumens output there is this 8K DLP projector for only $249,999. A dual 8K projector setup for IMAX style would be $500,000+. https://www.digitalprojection.com/en...ser-8k-gen-ii/ I prefer long throw ceiling mounted projectors for home theater rooms and ultra short throw ceiling/table mount projectors for bedrooms. But most people for bedrooms place the ultra-short throw projector on a tabletop stand so that they do not have to run power and HDMI cables on the ceiling. Its good to have a wide selection of projectors for everyone. Some people might be looking for projectors under $30,000 or under $10,000, while a famous director, professional stock trader, or CEO of a large company might prefer the single or dual projectors that cost $100,000-$600,000+. The more choices the better. But even if one can afford to spend their money on the most expensive projector, problem is some people have to build a dedicated IMAX or Dolby Cinema theater room that is added onto their mansion. Some of the projectors over $60,000+ will be too large for some people's home theater room unless they remodel. But awesome that there is a lot of choices in projectors for everyone. Living inside ones personal IMAX or Dolby Cinema is a awesome experience. Some of the custom home theater rooms can cost $20 million dollars or more, especially if they have a elevator going underground to the hidden IMAX and Dolby Cinema home theater room with speakers costing over $10 million dollars in a Auro 3D setup using 26.1 speakers with 3 layers of top, height, and surround.
