When this movie was first released I didn't care for it at all. Over the years I have frown to really like it and I love Jim Careys performance as the Grinch. I might have to pick this up though im not sure how much it will benefit from UHD the remastered blu looked fairly good better than the first release. Then again its a fairly colorful movie so Maybe HDR will help after all. If I can find this for a decent price and it gets a USA release I will upgrade.

Even in the new remastered version, the film often features an ugly, hazy appearance. I don't think 4k will help.

Universal should stay away from Dr. Seuss' works. They want to do another version of The Grinch from the same people who did The Lorax. Geez.

I got the last remastered blu, but let's be real. There are way too many Xmas movies and most of us always default to the same handful year after year (A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, etc).

Yup. I didn't see a huge improvement in the remastered blu, but who knows. A few ticks in detail wouldn't hurt for movies that get a lot of repeat viewings. If anything, the second film could use a new scan.

I would want just HA2 myself, I don't care for 1 actually, I know must people switch that around. I would get a combo pack though.

As far as this .movie goes though, it's one of my wives favorites so I probably will get it for her.
