Talking Finally time to upgrade my home theater screen

My current tv is a 82" Samsung N8000 which works OK overall. I have been wanting to upgrade to an OLED(since the day I bought it ) but the prices for such a large size was always an issue.

I am looking at an 83" OLED however definitely concerned the new MLA tech is not in a screen that size for LG. I will wait until Sony announces their 2023 models as I hope they have a new 83" that pushes the current tech available.

I have been considering a few UST projectors as I think I can make that work in my space. I have seen pictures that look great however is there a model that can give me decent HDR presentation(dolby vision) with high contrast potential? I realize it will never be an OLED however I am weighing my options before I make a final choice.

Obviously UST projector will have the size advantage but I need to get away from the current blocky grey/bloom situations I have now.

Does anyone have a large OLED and a UST projector? Can the UST give a solid movie watching experience in a completely black room?

Thanks for the time.
