Usually I'm not fond of newly created artworks, but this one (including digipack artwork) is simply spectacular

Never grabbed the VinSyn release, is this movie good or so-bad-it's-good?

Really love the artwork on it.

Completely awful movie, but if you're curious to see a young Paul Walker and can appreciate a smoldering hot Denise Richards you may be mildly entertained. This film has several memes in it for me so I find it funny, but it's a bad movie no doubt and I wouldn't dare show it to anyone I know.

I wouldnt go so far as to say it's "completely awful" but I can't say it's good either. But I had fun with it. It's purposefully comedic, rather than a self-serious film that is so bad that becomes inadvertently funny like The Room. Stream or rent it before buying, if you can.

I think some people look at films like these with heavy rose tinted glasses after they hit Ultra HD/these collector sets. And it's very easy to market this film with a pretty cover and limited edition packaging because of the stars attached. But try and watch it three times after you buy it and let me know how you feel. Anyone I ever knew that talked about this film back in the day, before tha innanets, said it was awful, boring, pointless, the dinosaur looked terrible, of course this was all before Paul Walker was famous and this was that "Denise Richards movie" with the dino, and of course it was the butchered cut. I mean, it's coherently edited, and the longer cut is much better, but I wouldn't try to upsell this film to anyone, it's certainly better than a lot of garbage Vinegar Syndrome has put out, and I can appreciate things in this one at least. Though the question becomes if Paul Walker and Denise Richards were two other actors in this would I even know it exists, probably not. I can compare this to another bad movie I like "Girlfriend From Hell," it's much funnier than this, but still a bad movie, and I know I tried to show it to someone once and they said it sucked lmao

tl;dr feel the roar of the dinosaur

I think it's great, but only in its uncut version. It's very much a 90s film, with all the cheese and goofy shit that comes along with it. The whole thing is ridiculous and fun, there's some great gore in it, the soundtrack is cool, and the way the actual T-Rex thing is handled will crack you up. Oh, and if you're an 80s baby who likes ladies, you will very much appreciate early 90s Denise Richards being early 90s Denise Richards.

It really comes down to how you go into it. If you expect a great movie that's believably acted and properly directed, you will be disappointed. But if you go into it expecting a silly, fun, ridiculous, and gory-enough early 90s teenager "horror"/comedy, you will enjoy the shit out of it.

I realize I said "early 90s" like 27 times, but goddamnit the early 90s were amazing for stuff like this

I agree, the uncut version is great but not in a technically well shot and acted film. It is just totally crazy, cheap, gory and nonsensical and i love it but definitely not for everyone.
