I went from shock to heart-attack back down to WTF in a matter of seconds. Please people, think of my heart before posting news like this!
![]() Well, I guess we shall see if it comes back up for pre-order. Is this from the same people that gave us Skinny Tiger, Fatty Dragon and The Odd Couple? If it is, I may have to get a little excited because they did a pretty good transfer for Odd Couple. (Have not bought STFD yet, so, can't comment on that) And, if it is the same company, hopefully they will provide us with a blu-ray. Though, it would be nice if it is pressed instead of burnt. But, us beggars can't be choosers. ![]() |

This title's #46 on the Warner Bros. list, I wonder if they have any involvement here? (Probably not, other than maybe refusing to provide decent materials for use by the Japanese rights holder.)

It will be interesting to see if this title gets released or not and under what condition. I am going to have to take a "wait-and-see" approach. Any volunteers to step up and get this and report back to the class? ![]() |

So, wait, I`m confused here. This is a release for Odd Couple on blu-ray, right? Or, for Enter the Fat Dragon? The translation says Odd Couple. But, is this a burnt or pressed blu-ray? I already have the double-set that included the dvd and burnt blu-ray. If it was a pressed blu-ray then I would have to double-dip. If not, not sure that I need two burnt discs.
![]() --- edit --- never mind, I guess.... here is the translation: Burn it Debgon pig couple fist blu-ray Samo Han Kimpo (Cast), Bruce Lo (Cast, Director) Format: Blu-ray well, for those that don't have it, this is a pretty good transfer for Odd Couple. it looks really nice but sucks that it is burnt instead of pressed. but, I would recommend it as it is true HD and looks a lot better than the pressed dvd. they should have burn the dvd and pressed the blu-ray. Also, there were English subs on the release. that might be a shock for most of you, it was for me. I`m hoping they release the Skinny Tiger, Fatty Dragon burnt blu-ray separately too. Will this poor film ever get a decent release? It's an absolute CLASSIC! Hang the Blu-ray, at this point I'd be ecstatic over an anamorphic DVD with removable subtitles. Currently watching the ancient Crash Cinema DVD that I've had for some fifteen years. Well, it beats third generation VHS and at least the mono soundtrack sounds pretty good, with satisfying bass-y thuds during the fight scenes. The scratchy but extremely colorful print with burned-in subs definitely has that drive-in feel. Yep, that's me, trying to look on the bright side of things...
