Though there is some probably truth there, even that's a bit more than the post actually stated -- at least 2 more bits of inferred information have been added that were not stated. It's Kindergarten Whisper a Secret game already and we're only at the 3rd chair

And I'll repeat -- this is the entire 100% complete knowledge and not one crumb more is known -- NOTHING else.

Are you sure it's a Signature title and not a dmc exclusive limited release like 101 Dalmatians?

"Chatted with a DMC rep today. He said Mary Poppins Returns 4K is the featured title Tuesday March 12. He also said Dumbo (Live Action), Captain Marvel, and Cinderella 1,2,3 will all go up for pre order along with a Live Action Kim Possible (Disney Channel Movie). Not sure if the Kim Possible was bluray or not.."

Cinderella is one of their prestige titles, it literally saved the studio from closing after WW2 wiped them out. They wouldn't just give it an afterthought cash grab release like Dalmatians.

Except Disney was reportedly displeased with the underwhelming sales for the Cinderella Diamond Edition. When Aladdin had similar results as part of the Platinum line, they considered removing it so maybe they did that with Cinderella.

the DMC 101 Dalmatians "limited release" wasn't a part of any of the event lines, it was just a pointless cashgrab re-release that for some reason removed the digital copy and wasn't given the typical fanfare any Disney release gets, and we all know Disney likes fanfare, they need applause to survive just like Tinker Bell.

Perhaps they were working on 4K behind the scenes and didn't want to release a WDSE of it because people were already mad knowing TLK 4K would come out on 4K and if they had been warned, they'd have waited for it instead of the BD. I'd be surprised if 101 Dalmatians doesn't eventually get another re-release for Signature Collection, and I'm sure Cinderella will get one too. Disney wants to market their princesses as much as possible.

So you think they won't ever release Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Pinocchio, Bambi, Lady and the Tramp and Peter Pan on 4K to not piss people off? Seems unlikely. The Limited Release of 101 Dalmatians was released before The release of The Lion King on 4K anyhow.

It was released before TLK, but TLK was announced before it. I just mean it was announced, people got mad because they could've just waited if there had been any kind of warning that it was being worked on, and maybe Disney took notice and decided not to release future Signature versions without a 4K release ready too and that could be why some are seemingly swapped around. The past ones are anybody's guess.

Seems odd, since an anniversary edition would have been fitting for next year. I would have thought Aladdin / Sleeping Beauty would be this years remaining titles for sure considering the anni date/live action releases.

I follow this dude called reelcinematics on Insagram and evert friday he post a Q&A and he seems to know A LOT of Disney news and what Disney are planning. Last friday, I asked him if the Signature Edition of Cinderella would get a new restoration and he said yes! So, hopefully this new Cinderella: Signature Edition will get a proper new restoration this time!

Not even if it's an improved restoration which has no details lose like the previous releases?

I'm not buying a new blu just to have to buy a new 4K later anyway. I've already bought it on VHS, DVD, and blu.

I think everybody is going to be disappointed anyway, it's most likely just a DMC re-release and not a new release.

No, this released has been a general relesed in Signature collection, the pre-order is now online in the DMC site since yesterday. The sequels has been only a DMC exclusive.

It's not up for preorder on DMC yet. It was mentioned in an early Mailer that arrived Saturday, but those offers won't go up until Tuesday (3/26)

I'm Confused. Is Cinderella the next Signature release? Where is everyone seeing this?

And the only upcoming DMC that I know of is Jungle Book which is advertised on the DMC site.

I'm not really convinced it's going to be anything special, the DMC flyer just says its "Coming Soon". I could easily see a simple rerelease.

As for where everybody is seeing this, it's in the pictures in this post: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...ostcount=25953

Edit: fixed the link
