I have all the individual releases of the films, but I am curious about the set in general. My guess would be 1, 4 and 5 have individual discs while 2/3 share one (As they are the least available films in B&M stores). If there are, in fact, only 4 discs.

I only have the first 3 on Dvd, the first 2 from that double pack. Wouldn't mind upgrading and selling off the ones I got...but I'm lazy lol

Got all 5 as it's my favorite current running series, but can't imagine anything new on this set. Less discs won't get us the "choose your own fate" version of part 3, or all the missing dvd extras from part 2, so what's the point other than to repack and sell off old disc stock for cheap? 4 discs is weird (and probably an error anyway, Amazon has been full of em recently), why slap 2 together, wouldn't that need a new disc master if nothing else?

Of course for people just learning of or getting into the series, it will be a nice cheap way to get all caught up. I'm hoping hard for more movies, esp. after the end of 5 which was the strongest ending in a series of strong endings IMO.

Have you even seen The Final Destination? The finale of that...and I'm sure BigDaddyHorse would agree, best ending in the series!

I would like a WB triple-feature of the first three films. Already bought 4 and 5 when they were first released on blu-ray.

Yes I have seen all of them but for some reason could get into anything after 3. I mean there ok I just wouldn't own them and rewatch them like I would 1-3

5 has the absolute show-stopper ending which really makes anything possible from there on. There's no limit to where they could take the series after that and all we'd been led to believe until it.

My guess?

This is a 4 film favorites of the first 4 films, completely ignoring the 5th one.

Similar to the Dirty Harry 4 film favorites on DVD and BR that completely ignores the 5th one.

The 5th movie ties back to the first one so I doubt that.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Especially since Warner Brothers has already announced that they were bringing their 4-movie packs to blu-ray. I would bet the farm it's the blu-ray version of this: click

Agree, WB seems to be releasing it under the "4 Film Favorites" banner to compliment the DVD variant which is already out.

They already released the first four Batman films in 4FF packaging as a BBY exclusive.

I have the Batman set, and I really hope they do more of these 4 pack upgrades. It makes franchise sets easy and cheap, the only thing I dislike is that A) they might have more than 4 in the series, and B) they have those stacked cases. But other than that, these are definitely a quickie collector's bff.
