They said the Blu-ray is a possibility. Everywhere else I have read this only confirms DVD.

It would make sense for them to work on a BD the same time as the DVD.

There is a Monster Squad BD coming, so they might be released at the same time.

This is AWESOME!!!!!! Been waiting for a good release ever since I first saw it on TV back in the 80´s. A Blu-ray would be so amazing. I feel like a litle kid on Christmas right now.

And we get BOTH versions of the film!!!!

YES!!! It is about time they release it on DVD. Hopefully they pack it full of special features! I prefer blu ray of course, hearing it on DVD for the first time is a treat for me.

Not really. You're aware that Blu-Ray players play DVD's... right?

And that DVD media still sells way better than Blu-Rays do.

I will get this for sure if it makes it to Blu-ray

First time on DVD and maybe Blu-ray at the same time? Upgrading from VHS to Blu-ray, talk about a huge leap in PQ and technology!
