After Pinocchio, this was my most anticipated of the vault titles I missed. Glad to have confirmation that it's being re-released (hopefully soon).

Is that Signature Collection website actually Disney's? Because if so, it hasn't been updated in a while considering half of the "Movies Available Now" movies are in the vault now.

Hopefully it'll get lossless audio this time, as the Diamond Edition only got DTS-HD HR 7.1 @ 2048 kbps.

I didn't know Bambi was HR, are there other Disney Blu-rays that did not come with lossless audio?

Pinocchio and Snow White were the only vaulted titles you couldn't just import from the UK due to region locking. Everything else has been available region free for awhile, and for great prices. Bambi is even on Amazon right now for around $20.

It's too bad that Bambi and Pinocchio have re-issue credits. In the case of Pinocchio, they did restore the original opening and closing RKO logo. The only home video release of Bambi to include the original logo is the vhs release from the late 1990s. The original credits for both films may be lost.

The only other US release that I can think of with the primary audio track being just DTS-HD HR is Muppets Most Wanted. I believe that a bunch of their European releases have that problem, though.

The pre-order is not actually online, but i noticed of the release in the Signature Collection. Is not a rumor of Disney Wiki or unreliable source, it's a new of the E-Mail of the DIsney Movie Club. Bambi 2 has been also programmed for the new released in blu-ray and the first time in Digital HD (like the first movie).

Okay, that's better. Why on earth would they do a club exclusive combo pack for this? I hope that just means they're releasing Bambi wide, and Bambi 1/2 as a DMC like they did with Aladdin 2/3.
