I actually wouldn't mind a surprise Sixth Sense sequel/prequel/spin-off like Glass was in relation to Unbreakable.

No, Split was a surprise twist, Glass was the surprise sequel.

"Split" did indeed feature a surprise twist ending, but the surprise was the very fact that it was actually a sequel to "Unbreakable"... thereby making it "a surprise sequel". "Glass" was in no way, shape or form a 'surprise' sequel because he announced very publicly, even as he was making the film, that it would serve as the conclusion to the unbreakable trilogy... so "Glass" was most certainly not a surprise sequel...

Before Split, we didn’t even know we were getting a Unbreakable trilogy so it was still very much a surprise sequel.
