Alan Landsburg Productions (ALP) was an independent television production company founded by Alan Landsburg in 1971. The company had produced That's Incredible!, Life's Most Embarrassing Moments and In Search of... three early examples of reality television decades before it became a confirmed genre.
The company also found success in television movies like the Emmy-winning film Bill (Mickey Rooney), and the scripted sitcoms Gimme a Break! and Kate and Allie. They made a few theatrical movies as well, most notably Jaws 3-D (1983). The company was acquired in 1978 by Reeves Communications Corp. In 1984, Landsburg left the company and formed The Landsburg Company, in partnership with Cox Enterprises, and ALP was renamed the Reeves Entertainment Group *In Search of... I know it's not a Blu-ray release, but seeing it mentioned in your list jaws3dfan, I thought this would be worth mentioning. Fellow member MifuneFan started a thread in DVD Movies recently for a DVD boxset being released in the States by Universal of Kate & Allie: The Complete Series (out in May).
