Add "by Bobcat Goldthwait" to the end of your parentheses!

I think for most people, that will be the draw.

Sure...in a parallel universe where "Goldthwait" is spelled "Tarantino" or "Spielberg".

Not bad if you aren't sick of found footage horror yet. It works because the two main characters are believable and engaging and a nearly 20 minutes sequence that entirely takes place inside a tent will either bore or terrify you. I thought the sequence was genuinely tense even if I had a "was that all?" feeling by the end and even if it's all very "Blair Witch".

From the man that gave us Shakes The Clown? I'm totally in.

Amazon has it as a rental for $6.99. I'm going to watch it tomorrow.

Hey, don't mistake "Goldthwait is the draw" with "Goldthwait is a huge draw." I'm just saying, the niche audience that will be interested, most of them will be interested because of him.

Yep. That's why I'm interested. I'm a horror fan, but I'm pretty sick of found footage. However, I like Goldthwait's previous directorial efforts, and I'm curious to see what he can bring to the genre. A friend said this was great.

After I saw Willow Creek I tracked down his God Bless America. I really liked that one and would definitely recommend it to anyone that likes black comedy.

Just finished this. It should've been called Pointless Found Footage Film #4769

I'm probably the only one who enjoyed the first half more than the second. Bryce Johnson is absolutely gorgeous and I could watch him all day, even on shitty found footage. The "tent" scene was dull and I kept waiting for something to happen. For a guy who was obsessed with Bigfoot and wanted to see a real one, he sure wasted time just sitting in that tent. Wouldn't you have a higher chance of getting killed in that tent anyway? If you're expecting to see a few seconds of Bigfoot, prepare to be disappointed because we only get moaning noises, rock throwing, and shaking bushes.

As for the ending,
[Show spoiler]Bigfoot (what's the plural anyway? Bigfeet?) with a Hills Have Eyes twist? Lame.

Like the design of the poster. It took me a second to see the foot.

I just rented this off iTunes this evening and liked it. I don't think I'll be buying it, but it's definitely worth a watch for those who enjoy found footage films.

I liked the tent scene, but I can understand how some people wouldn't enjoy that part of the film. It was a bit too long, but I appreciated the tension it was trying to (and successfully to a certain degree) build.

I try not to read about films before watching them... Wish I would have in this case! The 10 seconds at the end is interesting but 69min before aren't really worth it and there are a shit ton of loose ends story-wise. I love Bigfoot and was hoping to see an interesting take, but instead we got a Blair Witch remake and no Squatch to be seen! Bummer.

I think you missed the ending.
[Show spoiler]It seems we may have only one Bigfoot, not numerous (just my theory) bigfoots, but what is important is in the end of the film, that nude woman appears to be the woman from the "Missing" poster we saw earlier in the film. Seems Bigfoot is in need of some loving and looking to nail some more women. Perhaps make them feral....which is why the guy is killed almost immediately in the attack. There were other clues early on about the above actions resulting in the inevitable ending.

I thought it was pretty good, although not sure I would own this as the replay value is low. I was riveted during that tent scene, I thought the tension was well done as it set the momentum to the ending and the ending pretty ironic. My only criticism is the lead actor should have been someone else, just not believable.

Oh and the poster is great looking. Although I never did
[Show spoiler]count 4 hikers, only 2. LOL.

I got the same take as you. Just watched it last night for the first time on MAX. I thought the movie was ok. Blair Witch with Bigfeets.
[Show spoiler]I assumed the naked lady at the end was the crying they herd in the tent and the way it ended made me feel like bigfoot was keeping the woman and killing the men. Same as you.

I'll buy it in a pawn show if I see it. Its worth 3 bucks.

I thought this was uneventful but effective, if that makes sense. I enjoyed it.
