So Vestron is getting into steelbooks? Looks like the Vestron disc. Interesting. Hate to double dip but it's a nice looking steelbook

That's a fun steelbook, but I prefer the look of the slip. Thankfully, this one I won't need to double-dip.

If only the steelbook could fix the disc's crappy compression.

I actually wish it was the Vestron BD art than this one. The SB art looks like a PS3 cutscene

Unlike the original release this will include a digital copy. Seems like the type of thing that would be on a shelf in a Walmart store. Those vibrant colors make it standout on the racks and will encourage impulse purchases.

I'm not into steelbooks as much as I used to be but even if I was, I still prefer the Vestron slips so I'd skip this. If this sports a fresh scan I'll grab a copy but I'll be sticking the disc in the regular case. The existing transfer is nothing to write home about.

Awesome. This is a great week for Maximum Overdrive because there is going to be a 1/64 scale diecast.

I would love to get that, but that price point is a little crazy for a 1:64 scale!

Well 1:64 scale is still rather large considering its 1/64 of a semi truck not a human.

It should still be a bit bigger for that price!

I've never seen this movie but that's a cool looking steelbook. Is this considered a good Stephen King movie or a bad one? I know nothing about it except some vague memories of the t.v. commercials when I was a kid.

Not one of Kings best by along shot but just ok imo. The transfer on the Blu-ray disc leaves alot to be desired. To my eyes, looks like DVD quality, very soft in places and washed out colors. The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 is enjoyable and there are tons of special features for fans of the movie. A truely cheesy 80's low budget horror flick. The cardboard acting in this is atrocious besides Emilio Estevez, but I am still happy to add this to my collection though as i am a true 80's horror movie fan.
