Store banners

Hey everyone,

Very quick question. I have a box of store banners, the ones that are hung from the ceiling of a store for promotion purposes.

They were from the UK version of Woolworths and when they closed down I managed to get a boxed version. they are the characters banners from Lord of the Rings.

They have never been hung up and are still in the box.


Anyone know what such an item would be worth, as I've never seen an item like this before.

You've still got them after all this time?

No idea on value, but you'd probably be best trying to sell them to some LOTR fan group I suppose.

Was given them by someone I knew who worked in Woolworths before it died.

Kept them in the box cos I'm not a LOTR's fan but knew they might be collectable. The box isn't that big left it in a cupboard for the best part of 15 years I think
