This often shows up on various streaming services and I keep hoping it will finally make the jump to HD...and every time I am disappointed because it's still the old SD master. Now we finally get it in HD

I'm loving all the sex comedies we are now getting on blu-ray but I'm still upset Shout didn't do a new transfer for Revenge Of The Cheerleaders

Is this one of those rare "successful" horror comedies? I blind buy pretty much anything from the 80s but I always tread carefully with comedic horror. It's difficult to pull off convincingly.

I would love to blind buy this, but the $29.98 price tag on these exclusives is too high for what you get, unfortunately. I mean, Shout offers fully loaded 4K UHD releases for just a few dollars more.

Perhaps if they keep offering these in batches of more than one at a time, Shout could at least offer a discount for buying two or more.

Never can get enough of sex comedies from the eighties. I'm sold, although Shout's $30 price tag is holding me back for now. I'm sure I will throw it in with some other Shout order some time..

Never seen this one but it definitely sounds good.

I really hesitated on most Shout Exclusives when they were 26.99 and 1000 produced. Now that they are 29.99 and 1500 produced, it's tough to pull the trigger. I may chance it and wait for it to go on sale, and hopefully it won't sell out by then.

I wish shout would put up an effective way to sort their site for these exclusives. There is a section and an option to sort by newest arrivals but it doesn’t really work.

Before the site redesign, they had a page for the exclusives. With how bad the search is now, I would love if they'd bring it back.

They have a page, but like I say, it is not good and then doesn't include anything that is a pre-order for the most part. And as people have said, these are overpriced for the most part, but on the flip side, some of these, I really don't want to miss out on as I am still trying to find Twice Dead for a decent price. Then again, its hard to imagine Shout buying Corman's catalogue to do limited 1500 unit releases, so I could see these coming back. I am certainly more picky now given the $30 price tag.

This would be a blind buy for me as well. I'm definitely interested but iffy on that price... I mean not even a single extra besides the trailer.

On a side note: wow Marta Kober is in this. I don't think I own a single movie other than Rad that she is in.

I'm going to need to pick something else up with this order to qualify for the free shipping. School Spirit alone (plus shipping and tax) comes out to $40 for me.

I have no issue supporting/spending that much or more on niche releases given all the extras, packaging, etc you typically get, but this ones a bit harder to justify when it's just the movie and a trailer.

This will likely be way better than the old dvd. Just tough to pay that kind of money for movies these days. I'd kind of rather reserve it for releases that go all out like Undefeatable on 4k. But I get it that this is the first ever decent presentation on home video and I do applaud them for restoring an obscure film. Had it been a double feature with Last Resort, Beach Balls, etc then it'd be a much easier decision. Unfortunately with this being a limited release it'll target people looking to sell it and those looking to panic buy before it sells out. It's a low risk model that works for Shout and so we know why they do it.
