A great low budget ($6.4million) Danish film. Had a barely noticed US cinema release in May, available on Prime and the UK release is July. One of the most satisfying films I've seen in quite a while. There's action, comedy, interesting characters, good acting and a serious look and grief and consequences. The trailer gives a bit too much away, hence the spoiler tag.

Loved this one. HAAAAATE the bluray cover. Once again, painting it as a film that it is not.

My favourite movie of the year so far. A revenge film but also a black comedy and a very funny character study of a group of dysfunctional middle aged men, thrown together by a common goal.

I simply loved this movie - it hit all the marks (pun intended) definitely in my fave movies of this year (so far).

releases tomorrow and no updates from amazon on my preorder, and don’t see reviews anywhere yet… this is not gonna get to me this week i’m guessing…

loved the movie though. glad i got to see it in cinemas

Received my copy from Best Buy today. It's a barebones BD-25. No special features (or even a chapter selection menu). PQ and AQ are excellent. There is a hilariously bad dub on this thing as well.

A great movie and well worth the low price. The cover art and critics quotes are baffling though lol (It's clear the demographic they're trying to sell to). Reminds me of the home video release for "The Matador".

There's the sub version and the dub version. Stick with the sub version.

Yeah, I don't know what's going on with Amazon. I've had it pre-ordered since early June. They still have no stock and no time frame of getting stock.

this also happened with Another Round where i preordered and it didn’t ship for weeks after the release date. maybe amazon isn’t a Mads fan

I got an update tonight. Now expected September 2nd-9th. So that's something at least.

Watched this a few days ago. Felt it was pretty good until the end, where it simply got a bit too silly.

While we joke a lot about the Danish language in Sweden, not even we would take the time to actually dub it.

The US artwork is bad, but here’s the UK DVD cover.

“ONE OF THE YEAR’S BEST FILMS”, yet it’s stuck as DVD only.

The sense of perspective is off, with Mads giant with every other character not to scale as though they’re tiny, and a giant ball of flame that doesn’t really appear in the film to reassert the action codes.

Relentlessly unique revenge film with great performances, especially the mad Mads M. and Nicolas Bro, who's surely someone to watch. Engrossing right up to the end. Worth 13 bucks for sure.
