United Kingdom Terrifier (2016) / Terrifier 2 (2022) 4K UHD (UK)

Signature Entertainment UK will be releasing the first Terrifier film on 4K UHD for the first time ever on January 29th. It will be in a Steelbook with the second film under moniker: "Terrifier: The Bloody Duo".

Quote:
TERRIFIER AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 4K ULTRA HD IN THIS LIMITED EDITION TWO FILM STEELBOOK. Brutal, unforgiving with a unique flare; there’s no killer that comes close to Art the Clown. Feared, loved and reviled, Art stalks his prey on All Hallows Eve, a night when all should fear a killer clown with an unforgettable and imaginative way of killing his victims. In this two film collection witness Art cut his way through the inhabitants of small town America one by one. There’s no stopping him once his sights are set on you. EXTRAS: Behind-the-Scenes of Terrifier 2, Extended Boo Crew Interview, Director Commentary with Damien Leone

Seems like you'd get more sales in October.

Something tells me this will sell out within a couple days, regardless of what month it's released in.

As a self-confessed gorehound, I'm torn. The gore FX are fantastic but the films themselves are pretty crappy. Think I'll stick with the already decent-looking Blu-ray duo.

I wonder if it'll have the infamous "I'm in two minds..." sequence as a deleted scene?

Anyone have any details on the restoration for the first one? I’m kinda surprised to see it getting a 4K release.

I'll wait for the inevitable 80k releases of the trilogy and/or saga once the third is released

What is the track record of Signature Entertainment? I believe It's their first 4k release right?

I want to own both movies because never saw them but are they going to be totally uncut? BBFC have a strict policy for blood, violence and gore.

Not sure about Signature's track record but both films are uncut as far as I know. There's nothing in them that would fall foul of the BBFC these days.

Thanks for the info. I pre ordered the UK steelbook because its the only available option right now. I hope the transfer is good and gets a review before my copy arrives.
