Yup! I’m getting this as well as the upcoming B&W and GITD variant figures!!! My favorite Universal Monster.

Hopefully NECA can do a Glenn Strange Frankenstein.

Many years ago, I bought the Diamond Select Creature From the Black Lagoon with the Julie Adams figure. Apparently there were complaints about the Creature's inaccurate paint scheme, so Diamond later released a second version. I took the Creature Version 2 and combined it with the Julie Adams from Version 1 figure for my own display.
I posted a photo of the NECA version to compare. Since the movie was in black and white, and the few color photos from the movie are really old, I'm not sure if the Diamond Version 2 paint is more accurate than the NECA version's paint, but NECA is usually pretty accurate.

These NECA figures are amazing. The paint job on The Creature (aka The Gill-man) is stunning.

I wonder if NECA abandoned their plan to create Bruce the shark from Jaws in scale to their action figures of Quint and Hooper? I haven't read of any updates on it in over a year and a half.

Got Gill-Man and Frankie's Monster at Target last week. Haven't had a chance to open them, but Gilly looks amazing! Such phenomenal sculpt and paint work. I do wish he came with a little more- maybe a net or the fossilized hand, but the former at least is easy enough to pick up. The budget for this one definitely went into the sculpt, and that's fine by me!

Lookout for the fourth (translucent) version coming in a future Loote Crate box modeled after those cool Burger King kids meal toys from the 90s.

The Frankenstein one came out already (is packaged like the BK toy) and the Dracula is the one currently open to ordering. Next will be either the Creature or the Wolfman.

I have the color, B&W and GITD versions so I’m excited to get the fourth version as well.
