It’s not like they ACTUALLY hurt the dogs. It’s just a movie.

If you ever watch "reaction" videos of people seeing Jaws for the first time, they almost always say something to the effect of, "oh no, not the dog". Like, sure, a bunch of children might get eaten, but god forbid we should lose a dog.

I never saw Becky and went into this without having seen a trailer. The character of Becky was written rather poorly and Lulu Wilson isn't a good enough actress to make her stand out. It does offer some violence but not much else.

[Show spoiler]I can tell you haven't seen the film as the dog isn't really harmed.

My guess is this film will make next to nothing at the box office.

In the credits the film was listed as Becky 2 with a 2022 date. The film is also left wide open for a sequel.

This was okay. There were some gory kills and the pacing was good. Not a particularly memorable character though.

This movie made less than 200K at the box office and only a couple of people on this forum saw it. How much demand does it really have?

Let's just say when I rented Becky, I held the disc by the very edge, and wiped it off. Becky 2 probably won't attract the same audience.

Hoping they still put a blu out for this one. It says next week on here, but that could be wrong? Ronin put out the first Becky so maybe they or someone else will pick it up at some point if not...

Quiver actually put out the first Becky blu-ray, but decided to squeeze it onto a 12GB file to fit onto a single-layer BD-25 disc. This smaller-storage disc only features Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 tracks. Ronin Flix went back and put the film onto a dual-layer BD-50 disc. This disc features DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0 tracks.

Essentially Ronin Flix gave us a visually and audibly better version of Becky. And you get the allure of having a boutique label in your collection.
